The Allstar Mechanical Group began its family run operation in 1981 in Abbotsford BC, quickly expanding throughout the Lower Mainland before working its way into the hearts of the British Columbia interior.

Built from the ground up by the Wilson Family, Norm Wilson as President and Leslie Wilson as controller, Allstar became the first open shop Mechanical Contractor to work on some of the first high rises in Vancouver during the ‘Sky Scraper’ boom of the early 90’s. Allstar expanded its services to include Fire Protection in its buildings by providing sprinkler installations; the creation of Rocky Mountain Sprinklers Ltd. marked a seminal moment in the company’s history, which they continue to own and operate today.

By the early 90’s, Allstar continued its surge as a major contributor to the Construction industry. High profile projects such as The Sheraton Wall Centre Garden Hotel & Residences, The Whistler Convention Centre and The Westin Bayshore Hotel & Convention Centre established Allstar’s strong reputation with Developers, General Contractors, Engineers and Suppliers. Today it stands a company that can be counted on for elite industry expertise.

Over the years, Allstar has maintained its strong customer service and core family values; Norm & Leslie’s son Jeff Wilson joined the team after receiving his Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of British Columbia. The team has since expanded into the commercial market by acquiring Drumoak Mechanical Services Ltd. Drumoak has expertise in new and renovation commercial projects such as the Coquitlam Sports Complex, Audi Downtown Car Dealership and SGS Lab Canada. In conjunction, Allstar Mechanical Group are proud to have worked with the Lonsdale Energy Corporation, a district leader in the Leed Program, on the new and innovative Pier & Remix projects in North Vancouver to promote an environmentally friendly mechanical system aiming to achieve sustainability in energy consumption.

Now as President of Allstar Mechanical Group, Jeff Wilson’s focus is to preserve the brand created by his family more than 30 years ago.
